Impact Remote Areas through Gospel Literature

Gospel Literature Services provides churches an outlet to send Sunday School materials to national churches. Many areas of the world have no missionaries, but U.S. churches can impact remote areas for the gospel by supporting GLS through its missionary budget. By resourcing these national churches, we have the opportunity to literally shape the theology of first-generation Christians and first-generation churches. Consider inviting Chris Hindal, director of GARBC International Ministries, to your church to challenge your congregation. E-mail Chris at chindal@garbc.org.

Bangladesh Churches Suffering from Mudslides

The Hill Tracts of Bangladesh continue to clear land after the recent destruction from Monsoon rains that produced mudslides. Reports from the Bangladesh Tribal https://www.garbc.org/wp-content/uploads/sites/20/2012/08/Uttom.jpgAssociation of Baptist Churches, the newest partner of the International Partnership of Fundamental Baptist Ministries, speak of many churches and homes having been swept away. Others lost their rice paddies and crops because of the mudslides. Though the government offers relief toward the damages, the churches and many of the people do not receive help because they are Christians. Funds are needed to purchase rice, oil, salt, oral saline packets, and more. Asai Tripura, Tribal Association president, attended the 2012 GARBC Conference June 25–29 and returned home as this devastation occurred.

Money for relief may be donated online at www.garbcinternational.org and designated “emergency relief,” or checks may be sent to:
