“I Will Build My Church”
Almost 2000 years ago Jesus Christ, the head of the church, declared that He would build His church. The speakers and workshop leaders at this summer’s GARBC Conference will develop this theme and help us better understand our role in the Lord’s building process. Join hundreds of Regular Baptists June 26-29 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, to explore this important theme. You will find full Conference information online, in a mailing sent in January, and in the Conference booklet sent later this month. Contact the GARBC Ministry Resource Center, 1-888-588-1600, ext. 873, for more information.

Participate in Council of Eighteen Nominations
Please take a few minutes with your deacons and church family to identify your nominees for this year’s Council of Eighteen election. Your church influences the Association through the nomination and election process. Use the nomination form in the Conference booklet or nominate online.

Save Money by Registering Early

Register early and save money. You can register by mail, by fax (use the form in the Conference booklet), or online.

75th-cover.jpgThe GARBC–An Association of Great Preachers
Since its inception 75 years ago, the GARBC has been characterized by great preachers. For our 75th anniversary, we have produced a CD collection featuring messages from all the past and present national representatives–H. O. Van Gilder, Robert T. Ketcham, Paul R. Jackson, Joseph Stowell II, Paul N. Tassell, Mark E. Jackson, and John R. Greening. Listen to a brief excerpt from Dr. Ketcham, Dr. Stowell, and Dr. Tassell. For a gift of $75 to the GARBC, you can get this valuable collection. Order online or by calling 1-800-727-4440. Order a set for your church and let your people listen to these excellent messages.

Reserve Your Room at the Lancaster Host Resort
The Lancaster Host Resort is an ideal place for your stay at the Conference–spacious guest rooms, indoor and outdoor pools, and two restaurants in the heart of the area’s great attractions. Reserve your room online (use group code GARBC; do not use the code GENER found at the bottom of page 9 of the Conference booklet sent in January) or send to the Resort the Reservation Request Form included in the mailing or available online. Staying at the Resort helps defray the Conference costs.

Bring Your Teens to the GARBC Conference

Help your teens mature in their Christian lives and feel a part of the GARBC by bringing them to the Students Alive! program at the Conference. The speakers, the friends, and the activities will make a lasting impact on their lives. Inexpensive dormitory housing is available in Lancaster for youth groups coming to the Conference. Contact Scott Greening for more details.

Catch the Wednesday Youth Rally
Area youth groups are invited to join the Students Alive! teens for an afternoon and evening youth rally on Wednesday, June 27. Mel Walker, director of the RBP Student Ministries Department, is the rally speaker. Contact Scott Greening for more information.

Keep Us Up to Date

The January mailing included your church’s report form, showing the information we currently have on file for your church. We use this information to prepare the next GARBC Directory and to assist our chaplaincy program. Check over the information on the report, make any changes, and send it back to us immediately. Even if you do not have any changes to report, please update your church statistics and return the form to us.

Take Advantage of Special Conference Activities
This year’s GARBC Conference features several extra activities that will make the week memorable for you. Register for all these events on the Conference registration form.

Equipping Students through Service

TFC exists to equip students in GARBC churches for vocational and volunteer service for Christ. Students are now busy preparing for their TFC state competitions. Iowa, Minnesota, California, and Colorado will hold competitions in March. All first- and second-place group and individual winners are eligible to compete at national competition on June 27 and 28 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
