Borman-obitBAILEY, Mich.—Roberta Frances Borman, a missionary in Ecuador, died Dec. 30. She was 83. Roberta “Bobbie” Borman, born in Pasadena, Calif., was a missionary with Wycliffe Bible Translators, ministering to the Cofan people of Ecuador until her retirement. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, Pasadena, Calif., while attending First Baptist Church, Newaygo, Mich. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Marlytte “Bubs” Borman; their children, Randall, Sharon Larsen, Richard, and Ronald; 20 grandchildren; one great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church, Newaygo, Mich., on Saturday, Jan. 18 starting at noon, with the memorial service at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wycliffe Bible Translators, P.O.
