SMITHVILLE, Ohio—Pleasant Hill Baptist Church hosted its 10th Annual Ladies’ Day Out Jan. 25. More than 100 ladies attended the morning of personal enrichment workshops and Bible teaching, followed by a soup, sandwich, and dessert luncheon.

The women, with their family members and friends, came from not only Pleasant Hill Baptist Church but also neighboring churches, including seven churches that are members of the Ohio Association of Regular Baptist Churches.

Among those speaking and leading workshops were Clarinda Halk, a missionary appointee to Zambia, Africa. She spoke about “being willing and ready to obey God’s leading, whatever the day may bring,” says the OARBC. The ladies also attended workshops on how to create an at-home spa day, how to use an Instant Pot to its fullest potential, and how to make a spiritual journal.

Stephen and Mary Jane Olsen have served at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church as pastor and wife for 40 years.
