Tree Lighting, Concert Add Sparkle to Christmas on Campus

CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa.—An annual holiday tradition at Baptist Bible College & Seminary was continued with the Christmas tree lighting ceremony Dec. 1 in the Jackson Hall rotunda. The rotunda and tree, a 12-foot Fraser fir, were decorated by Bonnie and Abigail Peterson. The celebration included carol singing and refreshments for those who attended. BBC&S President Jim Jeffery and his wife, Bert, hosted the event as they have for the past eight years. They are members of Heritage Baptist in Clarks Summit.

Many areas of campus were decorated with lights and evergreens. Offices in Jackson Hall have a festive flair with trees, lights, ribbons, and garland with Christmas balls. Outside, light posts are wrapped with garland and red ribbons, and wreaths hang on the windows of the rotunda.

Christmas concerts on Dec. 11 and 12 will highlight the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. For details and ticket sales, visit www.bbc.edu/winterconcert.
