South Baptist Church Is ‘Paid in Full’

FlintMI_inlineFLINT, Mich.—”Paid in Full” was the theme of the mortgage-burning celebration at South Baptist Church Nov. 16. The congregation gave God the glory for helping them pay off a $1.5 million mortgage two years ahead of their 15-year goal.

The project was initiated by Jim Vogel, who was then pastor of the church and is now state representative of the Empire State Fellowship of Regular Baptist Churches. South Baptist now enjoys a new 700-seat auditorium and a large, spacious foyer.

Pastor Scott Snyder and members of South Baptist offered praise to God for His faithfulness in helping them render both this monetary debt and their sin debt “paid in full.” Snyder challenged the congregation that if there was an empty seat beside them or behind them, then “there is more work to be done to fill this auditorium with people!”
