GRUNDY CENTER, Iowa—To kick off and promote a fall Bible study, the ladies of First Baptist Church recently held “Pampered, Pink, and Pretty” Night. The event featured free makeup tips, facials, pedicures, manicures, haircuts and makeovers, massages, entertaining tips, and floral demos. A great skit, “What Not to Wear,” emphasized inner beauty. Lots of food added to the evening’s enjoyment. About 80 ladies from the community attended and heard the gospel. More than 50 ladies signed up an upcoming Bible study.
