GLADWIN, Mich.—Fifty-two leaders from twelve youth camps were represented at the National Association of Regular Baptist Camp annual conference, held November 5-8 at The Springs Camp, Gladwin, Michigan. The four day event included a hilarious dinner reader’s theater where the audience chose the culprit. Participants also visited other camps in Michigan, and held an auction to raise money for a trip to the Creation Museum while attending next year’s conference.
Ken Floyd, state representative for the Michigan Association of Regular Baptist Churches, was guest speaker. Pastor Jerry Dorman and his wife Colette, from Berean Baptist Church, Livonia, led worship and brought a special message to encourage the camp leaders in their ministry.
Representatives came from Camp Bethany N.Y.; Scioto Hills, Ohio; New Life Island, N.J.; Skyview Ranch, Ohio; Camp Fairwood, Wisc.; Camp Bayouca, N.Y.; Lake Ann Camp, Mich.; Camp Patmos, Ohio; Camp Calvary, Mich; Iowa Regular Baptist Camp; and Victory Ranch, Calif.
Next year’s meeting will be held at Scioto Hills Baptist Camp, Wheelersburg, Ohio.
