“What an incredible weekend!” says Clear Lake (Iowa) Baptist Church.
On December 5 and 6 the church presented The Christmas Story nativity event, drawing “a fantastic crowd” from the church and community.
The event included a live nativity outdoors, more than 800 nativity scenes and fresh cookies inside the church, and “a peaceful start to [the] Christmas season.”
“We were blessed with many volunteers and a very tame donkey,” the church says. “It was wonderful to spend the weekend celebrating the start of the Christmas season with our Clear Lake community.”
