Brian and Judy King of the Northeast Fellowship visit with two Renew workshop leaders, Jenny Case and Anna Nobles, and Anna’s baby.
On back-to-back Saturdays in September, the Northeast Fellowship presented “Yes, You Can,” the fellowship’s 2025 Renew Women’s Conference.
Subtitled “God’s Grace Overcomes Our Obstacles,” each conference—one in northwest New York and one in south-central New York—encouraged women to thrive in their God-given opportunities.
“Whether life presents us with tough demands or new opportunities to serve Christ, He can take us from ‘No, I can’t,’ ‘I can’t begin to do it,’ and ‘I can’t even’ to ‘Yes, I can!’” the Northeast Fellowship says.
Angela Burtis, a pastor’s wife, shared two sessions titled “Entrusted” and “Empowered,” focusing on two theme verses: “I can do all things through him who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13) and “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Joining Angela in teaching the women were leaders of seven workshops for each location. Each workshop title began with the words “Yes, You Can”—including “Yes, You Can . . .” Prepare a Devotional Talk, Trust God When Life Feels out of Control, Lead, Overcome Bitterness, and Find Peace in Difficult Relationships.
Host churches were Grace Baptist Church, Batavia, New York, September 20 and West Windsor Baptist Church, Windsor, New York, September 27.

Renew is held each September typically in upstate New York, offering Bible teaching, Christ-centered worship, practical breakout sessions, and sweet fellowship for teen through adult women.
