Nine Baptist Network Northwest churches in the Boise, Idaho, area held a combined missions conference. “Our churches have been sharing this conference for over 40 years,” says Dan Frank, pastor of Whitney Bible Church in Boise.
Over a two-week period, seven missionaries visited the churches, and shared events were offered for men, women, youth, and seniors.
At a banquet the last night of the conference, Patrick Odle, president of Baptist Mid-Missions, noted that “our churches have already cultivated a missions heart and that we just need to keep at it,” Dan says. More than 10 couples or singles from these churches are now missionaries, many as a result of attending this conference in the past.
