After three years of dedication and hard work to reach India, Damascus Road Bible Institute accomplished its dream of starting a campus in Ongole, India. The school ordained students in a ceremony Dec. 5.
The Bible institute, with campuses worldwide, is a ministry of Damascus Road Community Baptist Church, Cockeysville, Maryland. Tony Lawson, pastor of the church and president of the institute, says that “the mission of the Damascus Road Bible Institute is to make disciples that make disciples around the world with the true gospel of Christ.”
Damascus Road Community Baptist Church began in 2018.
“We are not done yet. We have more planting to do,” Tony says. “I’m excited for what this small church plant is doing.”
