Lola Mae Pals, a pastor’s wife, died May 18. She was 90.
Lola was a graduate of Omaha Baptist Bible Institute, where she cultivated her deep faith, love for ministry through music, and commitment to serving others. There she also met Eldon Pals. They married on June 1, 1954.
Throughout their 68 years of marriage, Lola served alongside Eldon as he pastored Baptist churches in New Hartford, Iowa; La Crosse, Wisconsin; Bloomfield, Iowa; Forest City, Iowa; and Monroe, Iowa.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion, and faith that will continue to inspire generations to come.
Lola was preceded in death by her husband, Eldon, on February 3, 2023; and two sons, Bruce and Bob.
Lola is survived by her children, Becky (Dickey) Simpson, daughter-in-love Dana (Jim) Franzen, Russ (Michelle), and Chellee (Dennis) Hedges; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandsons.
