Jerry Donovan (Don) Jennings Sr., a pastor, died August 3. He was 92.
Don was pastor of six churches, including First Baptist Church, Fenton, Michigan.
For 10 years, Don was the director of enrichment and evangelism for ABWE. In that role he shared the gospel and ministered to missionaries in 73 countries. His additional roles included president of Northwest Baptist Seminary, which merged with Corban University in 2010.
His greatest joy was preaching and sharing the gospel.
Don is survived by his wife of 71 years, Doris Lee (Swearingen) Jennings; his two sons, Michael Van (Jennifer) Jennings and Jerry Don (Lisa) Jennings II; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
