TOPEKA, Kan.—Shirley A. Swim, 85, died on Sept. 4, 2012.
Shirley married Pastor Gene R. Swim on Sept. 9, 1945. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Topeka, Kan., where she served as the church secretary to her husband for over 30 years.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Pamela Fritton and Rebekah Quinlan, and one grandson, Jason Swim.
Survivors include her husband, Gene R. Swim; their children, Shirene Hoppe, Steve Swim, Debbie Alvarado, and Mark Swim; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
