PRAYER REQUEST: CHAPLAINS DEPLOYED TO SOUTHWEST ASIA
The GARBC endorses a fine corps of dedicated and gifted chaplains for military, community, and institutional service. Please pray for two of our chaplains deployed to Southwest Asia; Ch. (Capt) Brad and Priscilla Kelsey and their family and CH. (CPT) Derek and Jessica Mosher and their family. Our chaplains are on the front line of duty, teaching God’s Word, ministering to military families, and sharing the hope found in Jesus Christ.

CHURCH FACILITY MISTAKENLY DESTROYED BY KENYAN GOVERNMENT
Chris Hindal, director of RB International reports:
Pastor Ooga Thomas from Nairobi, Kenya, serves among an impoverished people. He receives very little financial compensation and consequently depends upon his wife for family income. Recently, the Kenyan government ordered the destruction of a building and mistakenly tore down the wrong structure, the Baptist church building. Though the government has apologized, there does not seem to be any interest in compensating the congregation for another building. This was a tin-constructed building, but it was all this church had.  What an encouragement it would be if we could assist them in reconstructing the church building! Please mark your gifts “African projects” to make this happen. Allow your heart to be moved with compassion.
