You Can Plant a Church in Your Area
preconf-seminar.jpgRegular Baptist churches, no matter what size, can plant another church. Pastor, are you ready to lead your church in fulfilling the Great Commission by planting a church in your area?

To learn how to do so, sign up now to attend the special Churches Planting Churches pre-conference seminar from 8:30 to 12:30 on Tuesday, June 26, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This seminar will be led by veteran church planter Ken Davis, professor at Baptist Bible Seminary in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania. In the seminar he will present “Twelve Steps to Parenting a Daughter Church.” There is no registration fee, but contact Don Anderson, 1-888-588-1600, ext. 873, to reserve your place.

Check out Ken’s two-part article about the house church movement in the April and MayBaptist Bulletin.

Has Your Church Planted a Church?
Ken Davis, leader of the Churches Planting Churches pre-conference seminar in Lancaster, is seeking information about churches that have planted churches. He wants to prepare a resource to help other churches plant churches. If you have planted a church, please send Ken the name of the daughter church, the date it was launched, the pastor of the mother church, and the church planter or pastor.

Ever Thought about Writing?
We are currently looking for thought-provoking and relevant articles on theological issues and ministry trends to be published in the printed and online versions of The Baptist Bulletin. If you have an idea for an article, contact Norm Olson to learn how you can get your thoughts in print.

Book Review: Ask Them Why by Jay Lucas
This newest book release from Regular Baptist Press is an excellent tool you can use to introduce your people to an apologetic approach to pre-evangelism. Jay Lucas has done a masterful job in presenting a substantive strategy for confronting unbelievers who hold a worldview different from the Christian faith with its claims of truth. A dramatized CD with ten encounters between believers and unbelievers will draw students into this thoroughly Biblical and engaging study. I highly recommend you schedule a class for your people using this resource.
