Full-time ministry workers will enjoy the Refresh Retreat, a four-day getaway in Cannon Beach, Oregon, Sept. 11–14. Ministry workers and their spouses will be refreshed and encouraged through the preaching of God’s Word, worship, and fellowship with like-minded couples in a relaxed setting. Speaker Dr. Doug Bookman of Shepherds Theological Seminary will bring messages on the theme “Let This Mind Be in You: Lessons from the Life of Christ.” What better way is there to be refreshed than to relax on the coast while fixing your heart and mind on the Savior? Visit Baptist Network Northwest for more information and to register.

Crossroads Fellowship is committed to helping Indiana churches fulfill the Great Commission. In light of this commitment, the fellowship’s annual conference Sept. 18–19 will focus on evangelism. Speaking on the theme “Do the Work of an Evangelist” (2 Timothy 4:5), Dr. Larry Moyer of EvanTel will address the following topics: “The Ten Essentials in Training Your People in Evangelism,” “How to Impact the Lost in 2017,” “The Four Essentials in Communicating with People from the Pulpit in the 21st Century,” and “Where Does a Busy Christian Worker Find Time to Evangelize?” In addition, Moyer will lead a Question and Answer session that will address “How EvanTell Can Assist Your Church in Evangelism.” Emmanuel Baptist Church, Bloomington, Indiana, will host the conference. You may register online.

“Exercising toward Godliness” is the theme of the 49th Annual WARBC Men’s Retreat at Camp Fairwood, Westfield, Wisconsin, Sept. 8–9. Keynote speaker will be Dr. James Tillotson, president of Faith Baptist Bible College and Seminary. A golf outing will precede the retreat, with an array of sporting and target competitions taking place during the event. And of course, a good meal abounds with the annual prime rib fest.

Women will gather at First Baptist Church, Johnson City, New York, Sept. 22–23 for the Northeast Fellowship Ladies’ Advance. Speaker Rachel Strong will emphasize the conference theme “Love God, Love People: Obeying the Greatest Commandments.” Dramatist Carol Lee will communicate the theme as well. Experienced ministry workers will offer nine helpful and encouraging workshops.

Faith Taylor will be the featured speaker at the Women’s Renew Conference, Sept. 8–9 at Iowa Regular Baptist Camp, Ventura, Iowa. Faith loves to teach, explaining the Word of God as it practically applies to the lives of ladies and sharing with them His working in her own life. Faith and her husband, Dr. Dean Taylor, served in pastoral ministry for 25 years. Currently Dr. Taylor is chairman of the ministerial training program at Faith Baptist Bible College.
