Putting Others First: May 2008

Princeton, IN Church Suffers Damage

On April 17 an earthquake measuring 5.2 jolted First Baptist Church members awake at 4:37 CDT. After church members surveyed the damage in their homes, they experienced concern for the stability of their church building. This sister church in the GARBC has major constructional damage; the auditorium is condemned and the nursery and classrooms are designated as unsafe to use. Would you like to assist this church in their time of need? Baptist Builders Club’s Emergency fund gives up to $15,000 of immediate help to churches that have suffered building loss in natural disasters. Won’t you help your sister churches? Contribute now.

Welcome New International Partner!

The International Partnership of Fundamental Baptist Ministries (IPFBM) welcomes a new partner, The Sumatra Team, with chairman, Dr. Andreas Andoko, M.Th, located in Bandar Lampung, Indonesia. Help your church put others first; form a sister relationship with an international church. Chris and Deb Hindal, GARBC International Ministries, can help you connect with a Baptist church that possesses Biblically-sound doctrine “across the pond.” Encourage fellow believers at your church to become “others-centered” by stretching their Great Commission vision!

Help Others Grow Spiritually

Do you know someone who would benefit from learning basic Bible lessons through correspondence courses? Perhaps that person is a child whose parents are unbelievers, a new believer who hasn’t left a mainline denomination, a shut-in, or someone incarcerated in jail. Pastor Norvin and Betty Jo Jones oversee this Bible teaching ministry, the Mailbox Club, available to all ages. View their recent prayer letter and a Mailbox Club enrollment card by clicking here.
