Spice It Up was the theme of the annual IARBC Women’s Retreat, hosted on September 7-8 by ladies of Willow Creek Baptist Church, West Des Moines, IA. A variety of activities took place including a Homemade Salsa Contest with over fifty entries. Attendees enjoyed a special appearance by the Salsa Sisters and the relaxing setting of Regular Baptist Camp in Clear Lake, Iowa. More than five hundred women attended, giving an offering of $3,212 for updating equipment and remodeling the IARBC office.
Guest speaker, Peggy Walker, of Clarks Summit, PA., challenged the women to face the realities of their lives with the strength of God and His Word.
