The Sunshine Baptist Fellowship presented the theme “Local Church Impact . . . in Florida” during its 2025 Conference.
Meeting at Faith Baptist Church, Winter Haven, Florida, Oct. 20–21, attendees heard from Jeremy Coppock, pastor of Faith Baptist Church, Titusville, Florida, and Peter Grant, pastor of Parkway Baptist Church, Lakeland, Florida.
Both pastors “addressed the attendees with messages of hope, diligence, and strategy,” said George Prinzing, chairman of the Sunshine Baptist Fellowship’s council and pastor of Tri County Baptist Church, Lady Lake, Florida. Hearing “how God is using their churches to impact their communities for Christ” encouraged and inspired church leaders in their own churches’ ministries.
During the business session, the Sunshine Baptist Fellowship welcomed Hope Haitian Baptist Church, Fort Myers, Florida, pastored by Jean Louis Gesley, into the state association. Hope Haitian Baptist Church was previously the Haitian ministry of Daniels Road Baptist Church in Fort Myers and joined the GARBC in the summer of 2025.
