In 2013 a Baptist church in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania, closed and donated its building to Bridgewater Church, which launched a location there in 2015. Now, 10 years later—under the leadership of Campus Pastor Kurt Goglin—this campus holds three Sunday services to accommodate the approximately 350 people who attend each week.
“God is changing lives!” the church says. In 2024 alone, this campus baptized 29 people, most of whom were adults.
Following a congregational vote, the Tunkhannock campus has now purchased a larger church building in town. Church members are excited that the church can remain in downtown Tunkhannock while moving into a larger space to continue making more and better disciples for Jesus.
