The Northeast Fellowship closed out 2024 with a marriage retreat.
“In the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day, the Northeast Fellowship hosts Marriage Refresh, for husbands and wives to share dedicated time to relax and enrich their relationship,” says Brian King, executive director of the Northeast Fellowship.
At this year’s retreat, Dec. 26–27 at the Harbor Hotel in Watkins Glen, New York, speaker Elijah Beltz, pastor of Tabernacle Baptist Church, Ithaca, New York, addressed the theme “Fighting Fair.”
His messages “vividly explained wisdom literature from Proverbs on communication and conflict resolution,” Brian says.
In addition to attending those sessions, the couples enjoyed the charming Finger Lakes town, games oriented toward building marriages, and fellowship with other couples.
