SonRise Baptist Church, Adel, Iowa, ordained David Chambers and called him as pastor.
An installation service included men who had influenced David’s life. David’s father, a pastor, presided over the installation service and gave the charge to his son. Josh Robinson, pastor of Altoona (Iowa) Regular Baptist Church, gave the charge to the church.
David graduated from Faith Baptist Bible College in 2024 and has a passion for helping small churches, something his father had done for years, says Kevin Subra, interim pastor of the church since February 2023.
Kevin says the church is “deeply thankful to God” for David and his wife, Pam.
