Families with young children attended a Trunk or Treat at First Baptist Church, Dunkirk, New York, on Saturday. The church hosts the event each year.
“We want to love our community with no strings attached,” says Pastor Mark Massaro.
Close to 600 children attended with their families. The church distributed gospel tracts geared toward kids, invitations to upcoming church events, and 500 pounds of candy.
“Praise God” for everyone who attended, Mark says.
This year the church also included the Dunkirk police department. Kids and adults toured a Special Response Team truck and met some of the officers.
“We thank First Baptist Church for the invitation,” the police department says. “We had a fantastic time!”
