Kerry Watkins, head of operations for Regular Baptist Ministries, enjoyed a day of fellowship and encouragement from God’s Word at the annual conference of the Illinois-Missouri Association of Regular Baptist Churches. Camp Manitoumi hosted the conference October 3.
Kerry shared a report about Regular Baptist Ministries. “It was good to remind people of the needs within RBM and let them know of things we are working on,” he says.
Guests also heard from two speakers: John Kealen, director of Camp Manitoumi, and Jim Johnson, interim pastor at Riverside Baptist Church, Decatur, Illinois.
Camp Manitoumi was “a great setting” for guests to attend as families, says Bernie Augsburger, state representative of the Illinois-Missouri association. Lodging was free at the camp for those who chose to arrive a day early.
“God is doing good things in the state and at the camp,” Kerry says.
