Harvest New Beginnings, Oswego, Illinois, celebrated its 60th anniversary. A weekend of events included an evening of worship with Vertical Worship July 14, a car show the next morning and afternoon, and food and games after the Sunday morning worship service.
The worship service July 16 took place outdoors under a tent, combining the congregations from the church’s two service times into one.
“God filled the tent with people, praise, and preaching,” says Pastor Scott Poling. “It was an incredible day with God’s people and God’s blessing.”
After the worship service, Scott—dressed as Doc Brown from Back to the Future—rode through the church grounds in a DeLorean to wish everyone a happy 60th anniversary.
