While in Salem, Oregon, for the 2023 Regular Baptist Ministries Conference, David Strope and Kerry Watkins, both of Regular Baptist Ministries, visited the two Regular Baptist churches in Salem.
David is interim national representative, and Kerry is head of operations and HR director.
Visiting Bethany Baptist Church June 25, David preached from Acts 2 on “God’s Church Is a Healthy Church,” attended a church leadership meeting, and shared God’s blessings on the ministries of RBM.
Bethany Baptist Church has a longstanding relationship with RBM. At the conference, the church’s pastor, Tim Baker, was elected to serve on RBM’s Council of 18.
Meanwhile, as David was speaking at Bethany Baptist Church, Kerry Watkins was speaking at Faith Baptist Church. He says he “had a great visit with Pastor Craig Slaughter and his church.”
Kerry says, “It is always a blessing to visit churches and meet fellow servants of Christ and to see how God is using their churches to take the gospel to their communities.”
