The California Association of Regular Baptist Churches welcomed Clare Jewell, director of Generate, to speak at its annual conference. Pine Grove Baptist Church, Santa Maria, California, hosted the three-day conference.
In four sessions, Clare discussed actions that lead to church revitalization: “Make Disciples,” “Live on Mission,” “Cross Cultures,” and “Live by Faith.”
“Across the country, churches need to invest in relationships with lost people, make disciples who make disciples, and reach people for Christ,” Clare says. “Pastors and churches need to be willing to live by faith—willing to put everything on the line for the mission of God.”
Each year, the CARBC conference equips and encourages churches in ministry while leaving time for group prayer, rest, adventure, and networking.
Bruce McLain (in the photo above) is the state representative of the CARBC. Prior to that role he was pastor of Pine Grove Baptist Church from 1990 to 2014.
