Evangel Baptist Church, Hagerstown, Maryland, welcomed David Strope, interim national representative of the GARBC, to speak May 7.
The church family says they “were blessed” to have him speak in the morning and evening services, particularly as the church is without a pastor. David shared the purpose of Regular Baptist Ministries and spoke on “Pillars of a Healthy Church” from 1 Corinthians 1.
“It was a blessing to be both encouraged and challenged by God’s Word as Pastor Strope shared his heart with us,” the church says.
Two days later, David participated in the DelMarVa Baptist Fellowship Annual Conference, hosted by Grace Baptist Church, Laurel, Maryland. He both preached and presented a report on Regular Baptist Ministries.
