Meeting at Memorial Baptist Church, Verona, Wisconsin, February 3, the Pastor-Theologian Collective was honored to host Bryan Chapell, author of Christ-Centered Preaching.
Nearly 90 pastors and church leaders gathered for this event. Bryan “led two insightful lectures on homiletics and faithful proclamation of the gospel, followed by engaging Q&A and rich discussion,” says Jeremy Scott, pastor of Memorial Baptist Church.
The Pastor-Theologian Collective is a teaching-and-fellowship ministry founded by Jeremy and another pastor in 2022. The group’s gatherings “stretch pastors theologically, giving [them] access to meaty, theological teaching in specialized fields, and a conducive space to digest it with other pastors.”
The gathering, he says, was “a meaningful time of learning, fellowship, and equipping for gospel ministry.”
