First Baptist Church, Waverly, Iowa, celebrated the retirement of Dan Eloe. He has been pastor of First Baptist Church for 11 years and in ministry for 40 years.
The congregation honored Dan and his wife, Barb, with a dessert reception on the afternoon of January 11. A highlight of the celebration was a timeline on the walls displaying the Eloes’ four decades of ministry.
“We are thankful to all who came to share in their day,” the church says.
