At Faith Church, Lafayette, Indiana, people are connecting, learning, and growing through the church’s Faith Community Institute.
Recently the church celebrated with those who completed the institute’s Bible Knowledge Certificate Course. Offered in the winter, spring, and fall, the course is divided into two tracks, Old Testament and New Testament, with six classes each. Participants earn a certificate by completing each track.
“It is contagious to see people excited about learning the Bible,” the church says.
Aiming to earn a certificate is not a requirement of that course. Some of the students “just want to focus on growing in knowing different parts of God’s Word better,” the church notes.
In addition to offering the Bible Knowledge Certificate Course, Faith Community Institute offers multiweek classes that teach life skills, provide connections with others in the church and community, guide people in how to share the gospel, teach godly living, and help people grow in their relationship with the Lord.
Each class meets on Wednesday evenings, during separate ministries for kids and teens.
The church says, “May the Lord continue to bless the study of His Word as His people seek Him and grow closer to Him.”
