A Season of Celebration

GARBC staff members enjoyed a time of celebration and reflection at the Resource Center on Friday, December 14. The day began with a retirement tribute for Valerie Wilson, editorial director, recognizing her forty years of excellent and faithful service with RBP. The Voices of Victory choir from nearby Schaumburg Christian High School delighted the staff with beautifully sung Christmas music. A gasp of delight arose from Valerie upon learning that the digital piano used to accompany the choir was actually her retirement gift. The staff enjoyed a delicious buffet luncheon in the transformed “Christmas Wonderland” editorial wing, followed by a carol sing. As part of the Christmas celebration, staff members decorated the Resource Center hallways with themes reflecting Christ and His love. The following staff members were honored for their years of service with Regular Baptist Ministries: 5 years—Jeanine Gower, Steve Pittsenbarger, Mitch Tau, Nancy Lew, Dawn Kalinowski; 15 years—Mark Massaro, Keren Mendenhall, Michele Carmody, John Vining; 25 years—Jan Salzman, Judy Emery; and 30 years—Jim Iverson. Seventy-five employees assist churches through the ministry of Regular Baptist Ministries.
