Building Your Ministry

At times it may be difficult for church visitors to know how to get started in their Christian walk or how to become better acquainted with your church. Bible Baptist Church in Kokomo, Indiana, publishes the following text on the back of its church bulletins to assist people in growing in their Christian walk and in becoming assimilated into church life.

The Next Steps to . . .

Become a Christian
Admit that I am a sinner, unable to live up to God’s standard of perfection and, therefore, deserving of eternal separation from God (Romans 3:23).

Acknowledge that Jesus is God’s only Son, Who died on the cross to pay the penalty for my sin. He rose from the grave three days later in victory over death (Romans 5:8).

Believe in Jesus Christ alone for the forgiveness of my sins and the gift of eternal life in Heaven (John 3:16).

Grow in your walk with the Lord

The Sunday Evening Fellowship is a verse-by-verse study taught by our pastors. This study provides an opportunity to deepen one’s understanding of the Scriptures.

Small Group Bible Studies that focus on special topics or needs are offered through the course of the year. A complete listing of current study opportunities is available at the Information Center.

Connect with others

Welcome to BBC is a one-hour session that provides an introductory overview of the various ministries at Bible Baptist Church. It meets the first Sunday of every month at 9:30 a.m. at the Information Center.
