Ruby, the six-month-old daughter of Associate Pastor Trent and Lydia Hol, was recently diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a form of cancer. Ruby underwent a MIBG scan and had surgery for removal of a tumor and a biopsy. A praise—a bone scan and bone marrow test came back negative, and the cancer does not appear to be aggressive. Please pray for Ruby and her family as she begins chemotherapy.

Meredith Lee, adult daughter of Pastor Don and Sandy LeMaster, is recovering from a third major cancer surgery that took place on April 28. The surgery involved removal of her thyroid and gall bladder plus repair work in the colon. Please pray for Meredith’s recovery and restored health.

Pastor Brad Quick, First Baptist Church, Elyria, Ohio, and former chairman of the Council of Eighteen, is responding well after his recent cancer surgery on his scalp. He will soon begin follow-up treatment. Brad’s wife, Debbie, is dealing with indicators of possible recurring cancer. The Quicks need strength for their ongoing ministry during this period of physical challenges.

Associate Pastor Ron Sischo was recently activated from the Navy Reserves and is now serving in active duty in Kuwait. Ron is seeking the Lord’s protection on the field and Christian fellowship among fellow troop members. Ron and his wife, Pam, have three children at home and two married children.

Don LeMaster writes, “Please pray that the Lord will be glorified and that God’s people will be strengthened as we go through this experience together. Pray also that unsaved people will see the reality of Jesus Christ in our lives so they may be drawn to Him and receive the gift of eternal life.” Don’s message reflects the heart attitude of these families with prayer needs.
