LINDEN, Mich.—Wilbur Ernest Henke, a pastor, died Feb. 11. He was 95.
Wilbur served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps, training at Camp Crowder, Missouri. He was also a graduate of Piedmont Bible College and Bob Jones University. He served in several interim pastorates and was pastor of Bethel Baptist Church, Walnut Cove, North Carolina; Cedar Forest Baptist Church, Oldtown, North Carolina; First Baptist Church, Fenton, Michigan; and North Baptist Church, Flint, Michigan. In his later years he led a Bible class at a popular coffee shop.
He was preceded in death by a son, Wendel.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, June; and two grandchildren.
