LAKELAND, Fla.—Ronald Lee Grosh, a former pastor, died Aug. 25. He was 95.

Lee, as he was known, acknowledged Jesus as his Lord and Savior at an early age. Even during basic training in the U.S. Army Air Forces, where Lee trained to be a fighter pilot, he kept God foremost in his life. Lee also never lost his love of flying. He worked for the Federal Aviation Administration, serving in the control tower of Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.

After his retirement from the FAA, Lee became pastor of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Homeworth, Ohio. He and his wife, Ava, also traveled extensively to Israel, Italy, Greece, Africa, and Mexico as well as to all the P-47 fighter pilot reunions held across America, making friends along the way.

Ava preceded him in death after 66 years of marriage.

Lee is survived by his children, Ronald and Barbara; two granddaughters; and six great-grandchildren.
