Myrtle Weer, Pastor’s Wife

BROOKSVILLE, Fla.—Myrtle Sarah Pidcock Weer, a pastor’s wife, died Oct. 28. She was 92.

Myrtle served with her husband, Ralph, as a church planter with the Fellowship of Baptists for Home Missions, planting Kendall Park (New Jersey) Baptist Church. Myrtle also served alongside Ralph as he was the state representative for the Garden State Fellowship of Regular Baptist Churches; was director of New Life Island youth camp near Frenchtown, New Jersey; and was an interim pastor in Florida and New York.

Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, in 2014, and a son, Richard.

She is survived by three children, Tom (pastor of Chelsea Baptist Church, Atlantic City, New Jersey), Judy Cannon, and Steve; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
