LEWES, Del.—Elsie Mae Zane Cooper, a pastor’s wife, died on Jan. 19, 2010, at age 94.

She and her husband, John, ministered at Capitol Baptist Church, Upper Marlboro, Md., for 33 years. Elsie served the Lord as church secretary, Sunday School teacher, Bible club teacher, and personal evangelism worker. A memorial  service was held at Calvary Baptist Church, Georgetown, Del., the Coopers’ home church.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1999 and a sister, Doris Cooper.

She is survived by her two sons, Larry and Kenneth; and three daughters, Janet Pisarek, Debbie Rubock, and Betty Doggart.
