BINGHAMTON, N.Y.—Beverly Mattox, a pastor’s wife for 75 years, died April 15 after recent TIAs, or ministrokes. She was 90.

Beverly served alongside her husband, Robert, while he was pastor of five churches and interim pastor of several churches. The couple also ministered to seniors at Central Baptist Church, Binghamton, New York, from 1998 to 2014.

“As a pastor’s wife in New York State for many years, Bev reflected the Lord well and blessed us significantly with her pleasant spirit and strong faith,” says the Northeast Fellowship. “Her positive example radiated, leaving a lasting impact on her family, churches, and throughout our fellowship.”

The Mattox family will hold a private burial this week and a public memorial service this summer.

Beverly is survived by her husband of 69 years, Robert; and their children, Bill, Dale, Sharon Fraser, and Connie; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
