Betty Eloe, Pastor’s Wife

Eloe_inlineLINCOLN, Neb.—Betty L. Eloe, a pastor’s wife, died Jan. 25. She was 85.

Betty, the daughter of a pastor, married Rev. Edwin S. Eloe and was a faithful pastor’s wife for 39 years.

She was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Lincoln, where she served in many capacities and ministries. She loved quilting and making quilts for her family. Betty also loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin, on July 11, 1992. Along with his ministry as pastor, he served two terms on the Council of Ten of the Illinois-Missouri Association of Regular Baptist Churches.

She is survived by her daughter Phyllis Wikler; sons Dave and Dan (pastor of First Baptist Church, Waverly, Iowa); eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
