Racine, Wis.—No one preaches with greater passion than Pastor Nathan Osborne of Faith Baptist Church, Winter Haven, Fla. His inimitable style incorporates lots of congregational participation highlighted the 2007 annual meeting of the Wisconsin Association of Regular Baptist Churches on October 19 and 20. The conference was held in the newly renovated Fellowship Baptist Church, Racine, Wis., and also featured heartfelt worship times led by Pastor Steve Barton, of Calvary Baptist Church, Wisconsin Rapids Wis. The schedule left ample opportunity for informal fellowship.
The Wisconsin association is committed to church planting in the state. Two practical workshops at the conference focused on that theme, led by Ed Fuller, WARBC state representative, and Pastor Phil Skramstad, Berlin, Wis. The unique Friday and Saturday schedule was well received and those who attended left encouraged and spiritually challenged.
