Twelve New Churches in Fellowship with GARBC

DENVER—Twelve Baptist churches are now in fellowship with the GARBC, approved by vote of messengers of the 2011 GARBC Conference in the business session held on Tuesday, June 28.

New Churches to GARBC Fellowship

  • Chalco Hills Baptist Church (Omaha, Neb.)
  • Columbia Heights Baptist Church (Boise, Idaho)
  • Crossroads Baptist Church (Tracy, Calif.)
  • East Wallingford Baptist Church (East Wallingford, Vt.)
  • Hope Community Baptist Church (Cherry Valley, Calif.)
  • Maranatha Baptist Church (Peoria, Ill.)
  • North Valley Baptist Church (Mayfield, Pa.)
  • Woodbridge Baptist Church (Wildwood, Fla.)
  • Yreka Christian Fellowship, A Baptist Family of Believers in Jesus Christ (Yreka, Calif.)

Mission Churches

  • Community Regular Baptist Church (Bussey, Iowa)
  • International Baptist Church (Hamden, Conn.)
  • Victory Baptist Church (Bronx, N.Y.)

In other action, the messengers to the 2011 GARBC Conference approved the following churches’ removal from the GARBC fellowship:

  • Geist Community Baptist Church (McCordsville, Ind.)

  • Liberty Baptist Church (Bentonville, Ark.)

Dissolved or Merged

  • Caramel Baptist Church (New Straitsville, Ohio)
  • Cedar Avenue Baptist Church (Fresno, Calif.)
  • New Community Baptist Church of Strongsville (Olmstead Falls, Ohio)
  • New Hope Baptist Church (St. Louis)
  • Open Door Baptist Church (Polk City, Fla.)
  • Sonoran Desert Baptist Church (Tucson, Ariz.)
  • Southwest Community Baptist Church (Homer Glen, Ill.)

Ceased Designation as a Baptist Church
