WELLINGTON, Ohio—Parents eager to help their children make godly and wise decisions participated in RBP’s Impact Parenting Seminar, hosted by First Baptist Church.
During the day-long seminar taught by John and Daria Greening, parents learned how to help their children grow toward spiritual maturity. Topics included the rewards of possessing godly wisdom, the goals of parenting, parents as prime teachers, using the book of Proverbs to teach wisdom principles, assessing children’s spiritual growth, and developing a take-home plan for teaching their children life principles from God’s Word. Parents enjoyed interacting with peers, gaining parenting “know-how,” and eating a delicious lunch served by the host church. Participants appreciated the seminar’s “Biblically based truth and the practicality,” “open and relaxed learning experience,” and “illustrations that put material in perspective.”
