Rubber Legs Rendezvous

Camp Fairwood in Westfield, Wisconsin, found a creative way to raise the money needed for renovations on their camp grounds. They had a “Rubber Legs Rendezvous.” Fifty bicyclists and walkers traveled a total of 726 miles in four hours to raise the necessary funds. The weather was perfect and the event was a huge success. Camp Fairwood is very appreciative of everyone who participated.

The generous giving of many people totaled $10,841.24! These gifts will be used to replace the roof on the chapel, snack shop, and camp store as well as finish other remodeling projects. The repairs are necessary to accomplish the camp’s ministry objectives.

Camp Fairwood is praying that the Lord will give them another tremendous summer season and that many individuals will be impacted by the truth of God’s Word. Brad Dickinson, director of Camp Fairwood, said, “There is nothing on earth as exciting as being a part of what will last forever. Working with the Word of God and the souls of people is truly an awesome privilege and responsibility.”
