ENDICOTT, N.Y.—On September 4-6, a group of sixty-one, mostly senior citizens from the Empire State Fellowship of Regular Baptist Churches (New York), traveled to Petersburg, Kentucky, to visit the newly opened Answers in Genesis’ Creation Museum. The travelers enjoyed gorgeous weather, Shafer’s bus performed flawlessly, and the group found the museum to be awesome.
The travelers also enjoyed super buffet meals, great accommodations, and a visit to the Bible Walk Wax Museum in Mansfield, Ohio. The stop at the home of Buddy and Kay Davis (Buddy is a recording artist, sculptor, and adventurer who works for Answers in Genesis) proved to be the highlight of the trip for many in the group. Craig and Shirley Golden, the hosts, had loads of fun things on the bus (games, videos, Buddy’s songs, and plenty of candy) to help make the 1,330 miles go by fast.
