Martha Cobb, Church Planter

Cobb_inlineSOUTH YARMOUTH, Mass.—Martha Cobb, a church planter and pastor’s wife, died Sunday, June 21, 2015.

Martha served with her husband, Pastor Preble Cobb, for over 50 years as a missionary/pastor’s wife with the Fellowship of Baptists for Home Missions, Baptist Mission of North America, and Baptist Church Planters, serving in Massachusetts, Michigan, Ohio, and Connecticut. Martha used her many talents to honor the Lord and serve Him. She was administrative assistant, given to hospitality, a faithful prayer warrior, and always taught the beginner’s Sunday School class in each church using Regular Baptist Press materials. She loved the hymns of our faith.

Martha is survived by her husband of 66 years, Preble; their children, Nancy Clum, Ruth Hangosky, Rebecca Thomas, Stephen, Timothy, and Jonathan; 16 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
