Living Christmas Tree

For more than 15 years, Walnut Ridge Baptist Church in Waterloo, Iowa, has featured a Living Christmas Tree performance for the community. The Tree structure is 25 feet wide and stands floor to ceiling. Nearly 60 choir members participate. A full lighting system coordinates to the program’s music, and a drama, as well as solos and other features, often accompanies the program. The Tree has provided the Walnut Ridge congregation with an effective gospel-oriented event for reaching unsaved friends and loved ones.

About 1,400 people attended the 2006 program. “We are excited to have it a part of our holiday tradition here at Walnut Ridge Baptist Church,” said Pastor Mike Augsburger.
