MarkMohr_INGRAND RAPIDS, Mich.—Life Matters Worldwide, formerly known as Baptists for Life, has appointed Mark Mohr as director of development and marketing.

Mark has served since 1976 at various ministry locations in mostly noncommercial, listener-supported Christian radio, including Muskegon and Traverse City, Mich.; Madison, Wis.; Fargo, N.D.; Grand Rapids, with WCSG-FM and Children’s Bible Hour; and Seattle, where he launched Mission Network News and promoted Dr. David Jeremiah’s outreaches. For the past 15 years he has been working in West Texas, where he developed a regional radio station into a vibrant community-oriented ministry center.

Life Matters Worldwide, in its 30th year of ministry, desires to see local churches all over the world engaged in compassionate sanctity of human life ministry, from the cradle to the grave.

Regarding his new role at Life Matters, Mark says, “God hates the killing of the innocent and vulnerable; His heart is broken, His holiness offended, and His anger is hot. To quote Scott Klusendorf from a lecture he gave at Biola University, ‘If the church remains uninvolved or unmoved, we forfeit (as a church) the opportunity to bring God’s healing to women moving through a crisis pregnancy and those who have already aborted a precious life.’”
